About Us
Brief History
The Caribbean Policy Consortium is a newly established organisation that is focused on advancing Caribbean policy interest, as well as decades of collegial work involving a network of policy and academic institutions in the Caribbean and North America. Founded in late 2020, the CPC is focused on Caribbean policy work, supported by a network of policy and academic institutions in the Caribbean and North America. Against the backdrop of a focused approach on Caribbean policy interests, the CPC successfully forged international partnerships with the objective of widening the initiatives geared towards the Caribbean.
Vision & Mission
Caribbean Policy Consortium (CPC) accesses top tier talent anchored by a core network of expertise and scholarship from the North America and the region, and addresses the need to reenergize US-Caribbean engagement and identify a set of issue-areas to do so.
Target Audience
The Caribbean Policy Consortium serves a cross-section of: policy-oriented academics, and scholars at policy-institutions (such as the Institute of International Relations/IIR in Trinidad & Tobago); leadership at the same community of institutions; professionals in the trade, investment, financial services, and legal communities.
