Alex Rosaria

Alex Rosaria is a freelancer in Asia and the Pacific working mainly on democracy, human rights, and governance development projects in more than 15 countries. He is also a member of the High-Level Working Group on Climate Change in the Caribbean. He has served earlier as Minister of Economic and Labor Affairs, State Secretary of Finance for the Netherlands Antilles as well as Member of Parliament of Curaçao. He was Field implementation Officer for the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), the UN Development Programme (UNDP) as well as other UN specialized agencies such as the UN International Drug Control Program (UNDCP, now UNODC), the UN Programme for Human Settlements and Sustainable Urban Development (UNHABITAT) in Chad and Nicaragua. He guest lectures at the University of Curaçao and the Inter-Continental University of the Caribbean in Curaçao. Received his M.B.A. (International Business) and B.A. degree in accounting from the University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business.
